Refund policy

Eligibility

A full refund is available if you withdraw in writing before the published start date of your cohort and before you have been issued live-session links. After the start date, refunds are partial or refused according to the schedule below.

Timeframe for asking

Send the request to hello@schema-flowgrid.digital with “refund” in the subject within 14 days of the event that triggers it (pre-start withdrawal, medical interruption, or studio cancellation). Late requests are considered only where UK consumer law requires it.

Full and partial refunds

Before start: 100% of tuition. After week 1 materials are released but before week 3: 50% of tuition. From week 3 of Cohort Cartography, or after the second clinic of a short studio: no tuition refund, because faculty time and peer places cannot be resold. Lifecycle Charter quarterly reviews already delivered are non-refundable; unused future quarters in the same year are refunded pro rata if you cancel the charter in writing.

Non-refundable items

Bank transfer fees charged by your institution, travel to Brook Street, and third-party software you bought to query your own warehouse are not refunded. Complimentary alumni-list months already elapsed are not converted to cash.

Process

We confirm receipt within three working days, check enrolment records, and write back with the amount. No form on this site processes money; refunds are issued by the same method as the original invoice payment where possible (typically UK bank transfer).

Processing time and method

Approved refunds leave our account within 15 working days of the confirmation email. Card-acquirer refunds, if a partner invoice used a card link, can take longer on the cardholder statement. We do not refund in store credit.

Cancellation by the studio

If we cancel a cohort, you receive a full refund or a seat on the next equivalent lab, at your choice. We are not liable for hotels or flights.

Exceptions

If we withdraw you for harassment or for sharing classmates’ confidential maps, fees are not returned. If you cannot attend the oral defence, we offer one deferral to the next term rather than a cash refund, unless you withdraw before week 3 under the schedule above.
